Discipline Policy
The goal of HIJAZ ACADEMY Staff is to instill self-discipline into each Student, leading to socially acceptable behavior within religious guidelines. Encouragement and praise will be the basis of discipline policy. If a Student displays inappropriate behavior, staff will talk with them quietly to explain why the behavior was wrong and an example of appropriate behavior will be given.

The following behaviors are considered to be inappropriate
- Hitting
- Scratching
- Biting
- Kicking
- Horsing Around
- Saying Bad Words
- Whining
- Tantrums
- Snatching
- Stealing
- Shouting and Screaming
- Being rude to other children & teachers
- Throwing objects
- Lying etc.
Suspension and expulsion policies
If a student behavior is continuously distracting the whole group or interfering with the group’s learning activities, the parents will be asked to keep the Student at home for at least 2 days. This time might increase according to severity of conduct. If suspension does not work, the Administration has all rights to cancel enrollment of the student.
